✔️ Solution :-

a) 2x +3 = 5

In order to solve by systematic method, we have to subtract 3 to both LHS and RHS so that 3 over the LHS gets cancelled !

2x + 3 - 3 = 5 - 3

2x = 2

Now divide 2 on both the sides ;

2x/2 = 2/2

Therefore x = 1

b) x/2 + 5 = 6

subtract -5 on both the sides

x/2 +5 -5 = 6 -5

x/2 = 1

Now multiply 2 on both the sides

x = 2

Therefore x = 2

c) y + 3 = 8

subtract -3 on both the sides;

y +3 -3 = 8 - 3

y = 5

Therefore y = 5

d) 3y - 4 = 5

Add 4 on both the sides ;

3y -4 + 4 = 5 +4

3y = 9

Now divide both the sides by 3 !

y = 3

Therefore y = 3

______________________

e) y/6 = 1

Multiply 6 on both the sides ;

y = 6

Therefore y = 6

f) 2m/5 -1 = 3

Add 1 on both the sides ,

2m/5 -1 + 1 = 3 + 1

2m/5 = 4

Now Multiply both the sides by 5

2m = 20

Now divide by 2 ,

m = 10

Therefore m = 10

Systematic method :-

✔️ This method is the method where we should get the unknown variable x by eliminating other terms !

For eg;

A shopkeeper has a physical balance to balance both the weights by holding the beam straight . If The left side holds 2 kg of bananas means he tries to make the other side also to get 2kg of bananas in order to balance it..

Likewise In order to solve the linear equation by systematic method one needs to eliminate all numerals inorder to obtain the value of that expression.

✔️ We can check the answer by solving it in the normal way
