Answer:

It is a fable in poetic form. A fable is a story often with animals as characters, that conveys a moral

This poem is about a silly young cricket and an ant

cricket was only singing all day long and used to enjoy his good times during his summer season. He didn't not plan anything for future

When winter arrives cricket could not able to find even small amount of food to eat . so the cricket thinks about going near miser ant and ask him for some food and shelter . Then the cricket knocks on the door of the ant.

The ant gives very important lesson of life during it's conversation . Ant says that she neither borrows nor lend things to anybody . Ants are very hard working and save for the future . The ant asks the cricket what it was doing during happier times . On hearing this the Cricket indulges in dancing and singing and making merry . The ant ask cricket to try to dance and sing once again even in sad times

MORAL: We should have happy moments but we should not ignore future . Careful planning is essential for everyone and it ensures as a secure future.
