In parallelogram ABCD,

AB II CD and AC is the transversal .

x= angle CAB = 40 (alternate interior angles)

angle CBA+ 70 = 180 (linear pair)

angle CBA= 110

z= angle CBA = 110 ( opposite angles of parallelogram are equal)

In ∆ ADC,

x+y+y=180 (angle sum property)

40 +110+y =180

y= 180-150=30.

So, x=40,y=30, z= 110
