Question 1 :-

Given :-

If A : B = 5 : 7 and B : C = 6 : 11 , then A : B : C = _______

Here , ratio means divide means A and B are in fraction or ratio to each other and 5 and 7 too . Also, B and C are in fraction or ratio to each other and 6 and 11 .

So, solving

  \rm\implies  \dfrac{a}{b}  =  \dfrac{5}{7}

  \rm\implies  \dfrac{b}{c}  =  \dfrac{6}{11}

So, in the above equation we can clearly state that value of a is 5/7 of b and c is 11/6 of b . Therefore, we write it as :-

 \rm a =   \bf \dfrac{5}{7}b

 \rm c =  \bf \dfrac{11}{6}b

Now , we have got A and C but how to find B ?

So, commonly let's take the L.C.M of the denominators of C and A .

So, as L.C.M can't be done , we need to multiply them . So, there we go

 \rm b \:  = 6 \times 7 = \bf42

Now, did you notice that value of a and b was incomplete because see after them b is written that means we have to first we have to find value of b and then multiply them with it so , doing it

 \rm Value \:  of \:  a  =  \dfrac{5}{ \cancel{ 7}}  \times \cancel{  42}

 \rm Value \:  of  \: a  =  5 \times 6  =\bf \: 30

 \rm Value \:  of \:  c =  \dfrac{11}{ \cancel{ 6}}  \times \cancel{  42}

 \rm Value \:  of  \: c  =  11 \times 7  =\bf \: 77

\rm\therefore \: The \: Ratio\:Given  \: is \: A\: : B\: : C. \: So\: , \:the \:ratio \: in\:Numerical \:is \:\bf 30\: : 42 \: : 77 .
