let ∆ABC is right angle triangle.
and B is right angle.
here AB=BC AND AC^2=50

according to Pythagoras theorm
AC^2=AB^2+BC^2

50=2AB^2

AB^2=50/2=25

SO AB=5

hey there!!

let the two legs of right angle triangle be x.

let assume that sides of triangle be h , b , p

where h => hypotenuse
b=> base
p=> perpendicular

here given that : b=p= x (let)

also given that : h² = 50

now using Pythagoras theorem

=>> h² = b² + p²

=>( 50)= x² + x²

=> 50 = 2x²

=> x² = 25

=> x = √(25) = 5

so length of each legs is 5 ans.
