Jin vakyon me ek se adhik saral vakya hote hain aur ek upvakya dusre upvakya se juda hua ho
e.g. Yadi vah parishram karta , toh safal hota

Those vakyas in which one upvakya depends on other vakya are known as mishra vakyas.

If you see any of the two vakyas of mishra vakyas, it will not make any complete sense of its own.

For example, yadi varsha nhi hui, to fasal kharab ho jayegi.

In the above vakya, both the upvakyas are depending on each other.

If you will see the upvakya before comma and after comma individually, you will see that they are not making any complete sense by their own.
