radius of the sheet=4cm

area=2πr

=3.14*4^2

=3.14*16

=50.24 cm

radius of the inner circle=3 cm

area=2πr

=2*3^2

=2*9

=18 cm

area of the remaining sheet=area of the first sheet-area of the inner circle=50.24 cm-18 cm

=32.24

Answer:

We have

>> radius when circle is full, lets say r 1 = 4 cm

>>radius when circle is cut out from above one, lets say r 2 = 3 cm

so,

>> remaining area of circle = {area of circle with radius r 1} - {area of circle with radius r 2}

Step-by-step explanation:

hence,

     area of circle with radius r 1 = π (r 1)^2

                                                  >> 3.14 * 16 = 50.24 cm²

similarly,

     area of circle with radius r 2 = π (r 2)^2

                                                   >> 3.14 * 9 =  28.26 cm²

hence ,

        remaining area = {area of circle with radius r 1} - {area of circle with radius r 2}

                     >> 50.24 - 28.26  = 21.98  cm²

i hope it helps.
