Explanation:

the major green house gases are co2, CH4, CFCs, and N2O. greenhouse effect is very necessary for us as without greenhouse effect the avarage temperature at surface of earth would have been a chilly -18°c rather than the present avarage is 15°c

but due to increased levels of greenhouse gases, during the past century, the temperature of the earth has increased by 0.6°c .

if it increases rising then it would melt polar ice caps as well as of other places like Himalayan snow caps which ultimately leads to heavy flood and increased sea level which in turn increase the risk of sinking of many island countries.
