i)(a) angle 1 = 180 - 50= 130 degree(linear pair)

(b) angle 2 = 50 degree (opposite angles are equal)

(c) angle 3 = 130 degree ( opposite angle)

ii) (a) angle 4 = 60 degree

( in a line segment all angle added we get 180 degree. here 65+55 =120 degree so for finding angle 4 we want to do 180-120=60 )

(b) angle 5 = 120 degree(opposite angle)

iii) (a) angle 6 = 90 degree

(b) angle 7 = 360-(90+45) = 225 degree

Answer:

I am using this < as angle sign

50° + < 1 = 180° (Linear pair)

< 1 = 180-50

< 1 = 130°

<2 = 50° ( Vertically opposite angles are equal )

<3 = <1 = 130° ( Vertically opposite angles are equal)

<4 + 55° + 65° = 180° ( linear pair )

<4 + 120° = 180°

<4 = 180° - 120°

<4 = 60°

<5 + <4 = 180° ( linear pair )

60° + <5 = 180°

<5 = 180° - 60°

<5 = 120°

<6 ---- It is clearly shown that a right angle is there so its value will be 90°

<7 + <6 + 45° = 360° (angles around a point forms 360°)

< 7 + 90° + 45 = 360°

< 7 + 135° = 360°

< 7 = 360°- 135°

<7 = 225°
