Answer:

Selling price of watch AA and watch B =B= Rs. 425425

Let cost price of watch A = xA=x

Profit = 10\%=10%

\therefore \dfrac{110}{100}x = 425∴

100

110

x=425

x =386.36x=386.36

Let cost price of watch B = yB=y

Loss = 10\%=10%

\therefore \dfrac{90}{100}y = 425∴

100

90

y=425

y = 472.22y=472.22

Net cost price = x + y = 858.5858=x+y=858.5858

Net selling price = 850=850

Loss\% = \dfrac{858.5858 - 850}{858.58} \times 100 = 1\%%=

858.58

858.5858−850

×100=1%
