Sulphide anion has +16 nuclear charge, therefore has a net charge of -2.

(iv) During ionisation, Z and A remain unchanged. Ionisation involving electrons doesn't affect Z and A involving protons and neutrons (nucleons).

(v)X has a net charge of 2+ while having 18 electrons. From this, we can conclude there are 20 protons in it resulting in a nuclear charge of 20+.
