Take LCM of 3 and 4= 12

So

[4(x-1)-{3(x-2)}]/12= 1

[4x-4- (3x-6)]=12

x+2=12

x=10

Step-by-step explanation:

Question:-

Find  \: the  \: value  \: of  \: X  \: if : ( \frac{x-1}{3} )-( \frac{x-2}{4} ) = 1

Answer:-

⇒( \frac{x-1}{3} )-( \frac{x-2}{4}) = 1 \\  \\  ⇒ \frac{4x - 4 - 3x - 6}{12}  = 1 \\  \\ ⇒ \frac{4x-3x-4-6}{12} =1 \\  \\ ⇒ \frac{x-10}{12} =1 \\  \\ ⇒x-10= 12×1 \\  \\ ⇒x-10=12 \\  \\ ⇒x = 12+10 \\  \\ ⇒x=22  \: (Ans)

Therefore, the value of x in above sum is 22.
