may the distance travelled is zero and non zero.
since displacement drepends upon direction if the direction is 90 degree the displacement will be zero although it traveeled some distance.

Hey there!
Displacement is the distance between initial and final position.
Displacement can be zero when the initial and final point of an object after travelling for a period of time is same.
But distance cannot be zero because it is the actual length of the path travelled by the body. If an object travels and comes back to its initial point, it means it has covered some length.Hence, Distance cannot be zero.
