Answer:

1) a) 4

   b) 30

2) no

Step-by-step explanation:

euler's formula = v+f-e=2

1) a)f=5

     v=?

     e=7

so v= 5+?-7=2

      =  -2+?=2

    ?= 4

1)   b)f=20

     v=12

     e=?

so e= 20+12-e=2

      =  32-e=2

    e= 32-2=30

2) no. why?

     f=12

     v=15

     e=18

euler's formula = f+v-e=2

                          = 12+15-18

                           = 27-18=9

9 is not equal to 2 so it is not possible

Answer:

Euler formula is:- V - E + F = 2

  1. V- E + F=2

V- 7+5=2

V -12=2

V= 14

2. V - E +F=2

12-E+ 20=2

E= 30

3. V - E+ F=2

15-18+12=2

9=2

2/9
