Answer:

1)Given , sec theta + tan theta = p

we know that, sec2 theta - tan2 theta = 1

(sec theta + tan theta)(sec theta-tan theta) = 1  [a2-b2=(a+b)(a-b)]

p(sec theta - tan theta) = 1

sec theta - tan theta = 1/p

2) sin A = cos B

sin A = sin (90-B)     [ sin (90-theta) = cos theta]

A = 90-B

A+B=90
