Let his monthly income be x.

Given that he spends 92% of his monthly income and saves 200 per month.

= > 92% of x + 220 = x

= > (92/100) * x + 220 = x

= > (92x/100) + 220 = x

= > 92x + 22000 = 100x

= > 22000 = 100x - 92x

= > 22000 = 8x

= > 22000/8 = x

= > 2750 = x.

Therefore, his monthly income is 2750.

Hope this helps!

let's assume that the man's salary is x.
here x in percentage is 100%.
man's expenditure=92%

therefore,
his savings in percentage=100%-92%
=8%

now...8% of x=220
8/100 of x=220
x=220*100/8
x=22000/8
x=2750.....is ur answer.
