I was amazed to see the contents of your e-mail today. It was a surprise and much joy to know that our Catholic friends in Malaysia had such a fervent devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. In the past, many people other than the Latin Americans thought that Our Lady of Guadalupe was for the Mexicans and other Latin Americans only. Then, several Popes declared that Our Lady of Guadalupe was the Queen or Mother of all Americas which included the North America. As a result, many of the Catholic churches and schools in the U.S.A. adopted “Our Lady of Guadalupe” as their names. Still, to the vast majority of the Americans, “Our Lady of Guadalupe” does not feel very familiar or intimate. The efforts to propagate “Our Lady of Guadalupe” have not been very successful in this country (and Canada). This cannot be what God and Our Lady have wanted. Please listen to what Our Lady said:
