Step-by-step explanation:

Step-by-step explanation:

There are three actors involved here.

Tomatoes

Potatoes

Eggs

If Tomatoes are compared with Potatoes,

it is fine.

T:P = 5:3

If Potatoes are compared with Eggs, it

is fine.

P:E = 5:7

But the problem begins when we want to compare Tomatoes with Eggs.

Why is that so ?

It is because potatoes = 3 in the first ratio while it is 5 in the second ratio.

How to redeem the situation ?

Make value of potato common in both ratios !!!

How to do it?

LCM(3,5) = 15

Somehow make potatoes ratio. = 15 in each

=> T:P = 5:3 = 25:15

P:E = 5:7 15:21

Ah !!!

I can now compare Tomatoes with Eggs without having to consult Potatoes.

T:P:E = 25:15:21

=> E:T = 21:25

hope it help you
