given: ln ∆ABC ,AD is perpendicular bisector of BC

To prove: ABC is a isosceles triangle in which AB=AC

proof: ln ∆ADC

angle ADB =angle ADE | Each =90°DB=DC

therefore AD=AD (common)

∆DB~= ∆ ADC ( by SAS rule)

AB=AC (cpct)

∆ABC is a isosceles triangle in which AB=AC.
