Please tell the correct answer of that pakora question of yesterday's board question.

The complete question is " ‘the pH of a salt used to make tasty and crispy pakoras is 14 . Identify the salt and write a chemical equation for its formation .list its two uses’’"

So there was an error in the paper.

The pH value of salt which is used to make crispy pakoras is 8.3 approximately.. and The salt is Sodium hydrogen carbonate commonly called as Baking Soda.
Chemical formula : NaHCO3

Preparation of NaHCO3:

Sodium Hydrogencarbonate is produced on a large scale by reacting a cold and concentrated solution of Sodium chloride called brine with Ammonia and Carbondioxide

Chemical equation:
NaCl +NH3 +CO2+H2O---> NaHCO3+NH4Cl

Uses of NaHCO3:
1.Sodium Hydrogen carbonate is used as an antacid in medicines to remove acidity.
2. NaHCO3 is used in preparation of Baking powder.
