Database: ... A database is any collection of data, it can be words you write on a piece of paper or a digital file. A DataBase Management System (DBMS) is a piece of software that manages databases and lets you create, edit and delete databases, their tables and their data.

DBMS:

DBMS stands for 'Database Management System'. It is a software program that enables us to create, modify and extract data from a database.

RDBMS:

RDBMS stand for 'Relational Database Management System'. It stores data in the form of tables and enable us to join the tables by creating link between them.
