please tell the differences between osmosis and diffusion?

diffusion-diffusion is the free movement of molecules of a substance from the region of their high concentration to lower concentration when they r in direct contact.
             -this movement continues until the molecules are uniformly distributed.
osmosis-osmosis is the movement of water molecules from their region of high concentration to their lower concentration through a semi permeable membrane.
             -osmosis continues till the concentration of water molecules becomes equal on both sides of the membrane.
