The format of informal letter is simple than formal letter. Let me show you how :

First, write your address or introduction

Second, write the date like this (for example),

August 21st, 2020 or 21st August, 2020 and not 21/8/20

Third, Then write the body of the letter. A body of the letter is divided into three parts :

Introduction : we have to write the reason for writing the letter in this paragraph and ask them how they're doing and are they feeling well and etc..
