Both Indian epics that is Ramayana and Mahabharata teach us valuable lessons in life. Even in Mahabharata there is a saying, ' Seekh hum beetein yugon se, naye yug ka karein swagat'. Thus we must learn appropriate lessons from this. Key teachings are :

• Respect for eleders and near and dear ones.

• Respect of humanity

• Not to have arrogance

• Never to do bad works.
