As we know, if any metal reacts with water, it forms Hydroxide and hydrogen gas and sometimes also release some amount of heat.
But, Copper or lead doesn't react with water.
This is because the oxygen in water is locked into a compound with one part oxygen and two parts hydrogen.
Also,
Copper or lead cannot displace hydrogen as it less reactive according to the reactivity series.
Other metals that doesn't reacts with water are : Silver and Gold.
