1/x=1/(7-4√3)=(7+4√3)/{(7-4√3)(7+4√3)}

This is called rationalization of denominator

1/x=(7+4√3)/(49-48)=7+4√3

(x+1/x)^2=x^2+(1/x)^2+2x.(1/x) =x^2+(1/x)^2+2

(7_4√3+7+4√3)^2=x^2+(1/x)^2+2

(14)^2 - 2=x^2 + (1/x)^2

196-2=x^2+(1/x)^2=194 Ans
