x = 2 + √3
So,
1/x = 1/(2+√3)
By rationalisation we get

1/x = 2 - √3

So,
( x - 1/x )³ = ( 2 + √3 - 2 + √ 3 )³
= (2√3)³
= 8√3³
= 8√27
= 24√3.
Hope this may help you..

DRAGONITR: isn't it is like this that. (2+√3-2-√3). because 1/x=2-√3
DRAGONITR: ??
SparshGupta: No because sign of √3 also change
DRAGONITR: how?
SparshGupta: - ( 2 - √3 ) = -2 +√3
DRAGONITR: thanks a lot
SparshGupta: its ok
