1. Solid- ice
2. Liquid-water
3. Gas- water vapour

✔ Matter is something that occupies space and mass physically. Matter exist in three states

⦿ Solid
In solid the intermolecular space is very less, Thus it had fixed shape and size. In solid the heat travels through conduction.
Example- Ice

⦿ Liquid
In liquids, the intermolecular space is little more than solids. Thus, it don't have fixed shape and size, It can take any shape of container it is kept in. In liquids heat travels through convection.
Example - Water

⦿ Gases
In gases, The intermolecular space is vast. Thus It can move freely. It doesn't have fixed shape and size.
Example- Water vapour
