Explanation:

Given:-

Two consecutive sides of a rhombus are represented by 3x-6 and x+14

To find :-

Find the perimeter of the rhombus ?

Solution :-

Given that

Two consecutive sides of a rhombus are represented by 3x-6 and x+14

We know that

All sides of a rhombus are equal.

=> 3X-6 = X+14

=> 3X-X = 14+6

=> 2X = 20

=> X = 20/2

=> X = 10

Therefore, the value of X = 10 units

Now the side of the rhombus = 3X-6

=> 3(10)-6

=> 30-6

=> 24 units

We know that

Perimeter of a rhombus = 4×side

=>4×24

=> 96 units

Answer:-

Perimeter of the given rhombus is 96 units

Used formulae:-

  • All sides of a rhombus are equal.

  • Perimeter of a rhombus = 4×side
