Answer:

1) 48 cm

2) 38.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Given:- (A) Area of a square=144 square cm.

Find:- Perimeter of square (P)=?

Solution:-

Area (A)=length×width

Because all sides are of same size of a square

So side (S) of a square= √144

S(one side of square)=12 cm

Now perimeter (P)= 4×s

P= 4×12

P(Perimeter of square)=48 cm.

2) Let r be the radius of the circle.

Then, Circumference=22cm

⇒2πr=22

⇒2× 22/7 × r=22

⇒r= 7/2 cm

∴ Area of the circle=πr^2

= 22/7 × 7/2 × 7/2 cm

=38.5cm
