India and China had a long history together. However, there was the 1962 war  on the rights to the Himalayan border, the Chola incident in 1967, and the 1987 Sino-Indian skirmish. After that, China started supporting Pakistan, furthuring its relationship away from India. However, the two countires trade a lot with china importing to india  $16.4 billion. To conclude with, the two countires aren't exactly enemies, not friends as well, but ttwo countries with conflicting views.
