It was a stormy night. There was a heavy downpour and all I could see was rain and lightning. It looked like the rain was never going to stop. Though I was inside my house, the environment was scary. I was sitting in the living room all alone. So, to forget about all those scary things, I decided to make hot chocolate with noodles to enjoy the rain storm. But as I started walking towards the kitchen, I heard some strange noises coming from the store room. I was really scared at first but later I decided to go and check it out. I stood in front of the store room's door, hesitating to open it. But I knew something was wrong so I gathered all my courage and opened it using the key I had. At first I saw someone in the mirror, but I thought I was just hallucinating. Scared out of my wits, I switched on the lights and looked around but found nothing, so I switched off the lights but just when I was about to go out, I heard those strange noises again so I looked behind me, and found a woman with extremely long hair staring at me. I got frightened and started running, but the door automatically got closed. So I just started screaming for help even though I knew that no one will be able to help me. The woman had a knife and she was coming near me, but just as she was about to stab me with her knife, I found myself on my bed, screaming loudly. I realized that it was all a dream. My parents were with me too, so they comforted me and told me to sleep, as it was just a dream and ghosts aren't real. I have never been so frightened in my life and I am glad that it was only a dream, and that the woman wasn't real.
