                      Need for preservation of plants and trees

Plants sustain life on Earth and enhance the growth and development of living beings on this planet. They form the beginning of food chains, as they are the primary producers of energy and directly or indirectly feed the mankind.

Also, they maintain the balance of gases on Earth. During photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen, thus maintaining its balance in nature.

As evident, plants help us in enormous ways and hence need to be preserved. They help in controlling the level of greenhouse gases and thereby prevents climate change and global warming. Without plants, there would be no life on Earth.
