Visit to Green Garden Resort
Holidays are a great time full of fun, leisure, and travelling. During the last holidays my family visited Green Garden Resort in Himachal Pradesh. It is an idyllic picnic spot blended with the facilities of a five star hotel. The sylvan surroundings make the scenic beauty supernal and ethereal.
We reached the resort at noon. All of us were just excited to get into the water. The first water activity we did was descend into the Pools. The pools began to echo with the shouts and joyous of our screams. The next activity was Rain Dance. We danced on the wet wooden floor while the artificial rain kept falling on them. The most thrilling was the Speed Slide ride. The ride started from a height of 15 storey building and we had great fun sliding down this steeply sloping chute into a sparkling puddle of crystal clear water.
Another attractive activity of the picnic was the boat ride in the nearby ‘Swati Lake’. It is such a beautiful lake that I had never seen the like of it before. All around it were green mountains. The water of the lake was crystal clear. Where it was not deep, one could see the bottom and many species of colorful fish swimming in it.
There were many other rides such as roller coaster, pirate ship, tea cups, UFO, etc. In the evening we were satiated with the fun and exhaustion. We went to our luxury rooms where delicious meals were served. Then we fall asleep.
Next morning the resort concierge arranged trekking for us. it was a novel experience too. In the afternoon we did paragliding and rafting in the river flowing near the resort.
Our two day long stay at the Green Resort fully rejuvenated us.
