I was returning home from school. My favourite teacher had passed away in a car accident. Like the icing on the cake, I had failed in Mathematics. However, it was as if my tear ducts had dried up, I was incapable of feeling any emotion anymore. I sat like a statue carved out of stone. My worried mother didn't know what to do, buy my father, showing great presence of mind, started playing a song which, expressed my feelings acutely. A storm of emotions welled up inside me and tears started rolling down my cheeks. I got my much needed cathartic release and, bone tired, slowly nodded off, feeling much better than before.
