1. It was summer vacation. I was on a long time visit to my aunt's home. One day my aunt and uncle both went to a distant place staying my cousin and me alone at home. For sometime we idled away the time by playing videogames. But suddenly we felt hungry. My cousin was a year older than me. He could cook some simple meals rather well. He asked me to help him in cooking food so that we could make it quicker.

I washed some potatoes and peeled them. After that my cousin fried the potatoes adding some kind of spices. Then we saw that there were some curry in the fridge. My cousin heated the curry and cooked rice. Then we both ate and our hunger flew away like a bird sitting on a tree.

I learnt that we must learn every single things int world. So that we could handle the situations that come without warning.
