volume of hemisphere = 2/3 * pie * r3 = 2/3 * 22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5 * 3.5 = 539/6 cm3

if 1309/6 cubic cm of water is poured then water in cylinder excluding hemispherical base = 1309/6 - 539/6 = 770/6 cm3

volume of cylinder = pie * r2 * h

volume of water in cylinder = pie * r2 * h = 22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5 * h = 38.5h

38.5h = 770/6 = 10/3cm3

level of water = height in cylinder + radius of hemispherical base = 10/3 + 3.5 = 41/6 = 6.8 cm (approx.)

HOPING IT WILL BE HELPFUL ,,JUST CONVERTED 218-1/6 =218×6=1,308+1=1,309. ok ..
