Let the remaining angle be = a

In this triangle , using angle sum property :-

90° + 45° + a = 180°

135° + a = 180°

a = 180° - 135°

a = 45°.

Here ; two angles are of 45° ( are equal to each other) , therefore , sides opposite to these angles would also be equal ..

Therefore , x = 13.

Now , applying Pythagoras in this triangle :-

(13)^2 + (13)^2 = (y)^2

2(13)^2 = y^2

√2(13)^2 = y

y = 13√2 .
