You can simply use: CTRL+A and then hit the left arrow key to go to the start of line/document and

CTRL+A and then hit the right arrow key to go to the end of line/document

This works in all text editor and even this feature goes well in the URL bar of browsers.

Other than that, hitting HOME button will take you to the beginning of current line and CTRL+HOME will take you to the beginning of the document.

At some point in time I was also stuck with this and was not able to deal as there were large documents and switching from start to end and vice versa was heck.

But nevermind technology has everything embed you just need to dig and find out.
