Since Katarina notices that Type A trees produced 20 percent more pears than Type B trees did therefore,

Since Type A trees produced 144 pears, the "20 percent more" than the same amount is 120% that is:

144= 100/120×B

144×100=120B

14400=120B

B= 120/14400

B=120

hope this answer will be helpful for you dear :)
