Let , R1 be the external radius
R2 be the internal radius
Here,
External diameter = 18cm
So., R1=18÷2=9cm
we know that,
area of a hollow cylinder =-^-×(R1-R2)^2×h
748cm3=22/7×(9-R2)×2×14
748=88×(9-R2)
17=2×(9-R2)
2R2=18-17=1
R2=.5cm
Now ,thickness=R1-R2=9-.5=8.5cm
