Hey friend

Here is your answer

=y²-4y+3

=y²-y-3y+3

=y(y-1)-3(y-1)

=(y-3)(y-1)

y=3 or y=1

Hope this helps you

abhi569: Y≠1
abhi569: Because their product is not equal to 0
abhi569: So, we can't day that y =1 or
abhi569: y=3
abhi569: Day - say
Anonymous: Put y=1 in the equation and the answer is coming 0. Check it... So y=1 and y=3
abhi569: Yeah... It can be.... But their product is not equal to 0, so we can't say that y = 1 or 3
Anonymous: Product of zeroes =c/a. .....it is coming....
abhi569: Ohfo.... Leave it

hey friend here is your answer..

= y^2-(3+1)y+3
= y^2-3y-y+3
= y(y-3)-1(y-3). (taking common)
