Students present = 97%

Students absent = 100% - 97%

But the number of students absent is given = 18

Therefore, \textbf {ATQ:}

=> 3% of x = 18

 =  >  \frac{3}{100}  \times x = 18 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{18 \times 100}{3}  \\  \\  =  > x = 6 \times 100 \\  \\  =  > x = 600
