area of rectangle =

$x \times x + 9 = {x}^{2} + 9x$

when increased by 3

breadth = x +3

length = x + 12

area of rectangle

$(x + 3 )\times (x + 12) = \\ {x}^{2} + 12x + 3x + 36 = {x}^{2} + 15x \\ + 36$

now ,

${x}^{2} + 15x + 36 = {x}^{2} + 9x + 84 \\ 6x = 48 \\ x = 8$

breadth = 8cm

length = 8+9 cm = 17 cm
