(d) FSH, Oestrogen and progesterone

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) , stimulates the maturation of eggs in the ovary. Once the eggs are mature enough, a hormone called Oestrogen, stimulates menstruation.
Each month, when a mature ovum is released, hormone called progesterone, develops the uterus to accommodate a zygote, if the egg is fertilized by a sperm. basically, progesterone helps during pregnancy.
