All arteries have relatively thick walls that can withstand the high pressure of blood ejected from the heart. However, those close to the heart have the thickest walls, containing a high percentage of elastic fibers in all three of their tunics.

The vessel B is Capillaries.  Capillaries are tiny, extremely thin-walled vessels that act as a bridge between arteries (which carry blood away from the heart) and veins (which carry blood back to the heart).

Q.12 ans. Unlike arteries, veins contain valves that ensure blood flows in only one direction. Arteries don't require valves because pressure from the heart is so strong that blood is only able to flow in one direction. Valves also help blood travel back to the heart against the force of gravity.
