let the shorter parellal side be x
other parellal side = x+6

Area of trapezium = 180cm²
height = 9cm

area \: of \: trapezium \: = \frac{1}{2} h(a + b)

180 = \frac{1}{2} \times 9(x + x + 6)

180 = \frac{1}{2} \times 9 \times (2x + 6)

 \frac{180 \times 2}{9} = 2x + 6

40 = 2x + 6

40 - 6 = 2x
34 = 2x

x = \frac{34}{2}
x = 17
therefore,

1st side = x = 17cm

2nd side = x+6 = 17+6 = 23cm
