it is given that perimeterof circle= perimeter of square

2Πr=4a

a=Πr/2

area of circle=Πr^2
area of square=a^2
or area of square=Π^2/4 x r^2

taking Π^2 =9and Π=3 approximately area of square=2.25 x r^2
and area of circle =3.14 x r^2
so area of circle greater than area of square
