Ratio of areas of flat A:B:C are 5:6:8

Let the areas of flat A,B,C be 5x,6x,8x respectively

Difference between areas of flat C and A is 270 m^2

It means 8x-5x = 270m^2

3x = 270m^2

x = 270m^2 / 3

x = 90m^2

Area of flat B= 6x ( Input value of x )

6x = 6×90m^2 = 540 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

area of A,B,C flats=5:6:8

area of (C-A)=270m^2

area of B=?

consider common constant as k,

area of flat A=5k

area of flat B=6k

area of flat C=8k

8k-5k=270

3k=270

k=90

hence area of flat B=6k=6*90

=540m^2
