Helen Adams Keller was born on June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. In 1882, she was stricken by an illness that left her blind and deaf. Beginning in 1887, Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan, helped her make tremendous progress with her ability to communicate, and Keller went on to college, graduating in 1904.

Helen Keller was born to captain Arthur Keller and to kate Adams Keller on 27 June 1880 in tuscumbia in USA. She was not blind from her birth when she was nineteen months old she fell ill the doctors were telling that she was suffering from 'brain fever'. She got well her parents thought that bit she was far from that she do not responds to simple sight and action from this incident her parents discovers that she had become blind and deaf. The life for Helen was not easy ahead so her mother appointed a teacher named anne Sullivan she changed the life of Helen.
